The Acorn Café is Yale’s first student-run coffee shop. It is on the 4th floor of Byers Hall. The Cafe offers specialty ELEVA brand farmer­‐direct and sustainably-sourced coffee, organic teas, and seasonal specials. The Acorn space is available for after hours reservations M-F (6pm and later).

Reservation Policy for the Acorn After Hours (6pm and later M-F)

  • Reservation Eligibility: Only Silliman students may reserve the Acorn After Hours.
  • Reservation Duration: Reservations are made in two-hour intervals. Reservations can only be M-F after 6pm. 
  • Access: Entry to the space is by key and lockbox.
  • Clean-Up: You must clean up the space after use to avoid being denied future reservations.
  • Reporting Issues: Report any equipment or supplies in disrepair by emailing smaide.yale@gmail.com.
