Silliman writing tutor: Carol Tell Morse. Carol is a lecturer in the English Department and a member of the Irish Studies working group in the Whitney Humanities Center. After completing her PhD in Irish literature at University College, Dublin, she taught for 20 years at the University of Michigan, where she also served as the faculty director of a writing program. She has a wide range of academic interests, including poetry, children’s literature, writing pedagogy, fiction, and Irish literature.
