Hello Class of 2030!! My name is Andy (he/him), and I’m from Somerset, New Jersey! I’m a first-generation student majoring in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry with a concentration in Structural Biology. On campus, you can find me rehearsing with Yale’s K-pop dance group Movement, playing the cello with the Davenport Pops Orchestra (DPops!), or running around planning an international Model UN conference. Alongside these activities, I conduct research on cardiovascular disease at the Yale School of Medicine, where I study the molecular mechanisms underlying vascular dysfunction.
When I’m not keeping myself busy with all that, you’ll probably find me in our very own Silliman buttery sipping a smoothie and listening to Billie Eilish or Daniel Caesar. I also love drawing (especially outdoors), playing the guitar, cooking for friends and family, and learning how to make new balloon animals for anyone who crosses my path. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, song recs, or just want to chat!
